The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Cleveland Browns tonight in an AFC North matchup that starts Week 4. Both teams are 2–1, and kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET at Huntington Bank Field. The game streams on Prime Video and NFL+.
Two very different finishes last week
Pittsburgh’s latest win was a 30–27 shootout against Cincinnati. Aaron Rodgers threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns, while Jaylen Warren gave the offense a second gear with 127 rushing yards and 49 more as a receiver. The Steelers showed they can answer when a game opens up, but replicating that production against a divisional opponent is a new test.
Cleveland needed a late push to beat Carolina, 21–18. Deshaun Watson connected with Harold Fannin Jr. for the go-ahead touchdown in the final minutes. That finish gave the Browns consecutive wins, though they will need more sustained offense to keep pressure off their defense against Pittsburgh.
The hinge point: can Cleveland keep Warren in check?
Warren’s all-purpose impact is the matchup Pittsburgh can build around. If Cleveland closes the run lanes and forces the Steelers into obvious passing situations, the Browns can make the home crowd count. If Warren keeps moving the chains, Rodgers gets more manageable downs and the Steelers can control the game’s tempo.
For Cleveland, the opportunity is straightforward: make this a low-possession, physical game, then let Watson and the defense decide the final few drives. Pittsburgh’s 30-point showing is the loudest recent offensive evidence, but one strong Sunday does not guarantee an easy road night.
Kris’s Take
My pick: Steelers 20, Browns 17. I’m taking Pittsburgh because its offense showed more explosive range last week, especially with Warren contributing both on the ground and through the air. Cleveland’s home field and late-game grit make this a close call, but I trust Pittsburgh to create one more scoring drive. That’s a prediction, not a reported outcome—the game has not kicked off yet.
